Creative & Curious

I honestly can’t remember the first time someone called me creative or curious-if I had to guess, I was probably about four years old.

What was true then is still true now. Creativity and curiosity have always come naturally to me, but I’ve also made a point of developing them even further. During my university studies, I learned to apply design thinking-a process that really encourages you to step into your audience’s shoes, zoom out for the big picture, and then zoom in on the smallest details. I love using this approach to gather insights and make sure information is accessible to everyone involved. It’s become a core part of how I work, and I’ve brought it into every job I’ve had since.

For a long time, I thought creativity had to be something tangible. I used to make my own merch for bands and musicians I loved (and sometimes I still do). But these days, what excites me most is coming up with fresh concepts and innovative strategies. That’s my favorite part of any project or job. Sometimes it’s a real mental workout, but it’s the kind of challenge I thrive on. I’ve never been one to just follow instructions blindly-I want to understand the “why” behind things and explore if there’s a better way.

In other words: for me, the horizon can always be a little wider.
